Course Description
Diploma in Pharmacy provides knowledge in making medicines regarding compoundings, dispensing skills and also enable the students to gain knowledge to identify common diseases and recommend over the counter (OTC) medicines for these diseases. They will also be able to sell medicines according to the prescription, and advice patients on how to correctly use the medicine.
This course also prepares students for managerial positions, particularly in parmacies. In addition students can choose to continue education in Pharmacy or other health related fields.
