Course Description
Certificate III in Aquatic Recreation provides a unique learning experience to participants through a combination of academic knowledge coupled with practical field skills that are highly valued and recognised by professional bodies in the field of water sports. Students practice their skills and gain field experience in the peerless marine environment of the Maldives. Students are offered Core Employment Skills to develop a professional attitude and increase confidence and readiness for the workforce.
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded a Certificate III in aquatic Recreation as well as professional certificates from Verband Deutscher Wassersport Schulen (VDWS), Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) and Emergency First Response Corporation. Following are the licences embedded within the programme:
– VDWS Basic Catamaran Sailing Licence
– VDWS Basic Wind Surf Sailing Licence
– VDWS Water Sports Assistant Licence
– SLSA Surf Rescue Certificate
